A Windhorse Project

*

For over a thousand years the people of Tibet have prayed for us in a mountainous land half a world away.  This is because they have prayed for all living things.  They have prayed for us in great monasteries, in simple homes, and in the spare  tents of  pilgrims bowing low to frozen earth as their prayer flags flew in the wind.
After Tibet was invaded in the 1940's by the Chinese,  thousands of its monasteries were destroyed,  its people tortured and oppressed, and its  leader, the Dalai Lama, forced into exile. It is an ongoing struggle to save a people, a culture, and a profound and beautiful spiritual tradition from being extinguished from the earth. Please join me in this project that will be devoted to them and the great truth they have lived - and died for.
